Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answer
Below are the questions buyers ask us most often about materials, quantities, lead times and shipping.
Before you ask: what we need to quote
A quotation is only as accurate as the information behind it. The four things that move price most are quantity, size, material and finishing. Quantity matters most because most of the cost in screen printing and die-cutting is setup, which is spread across the run. Material matters next: a polymeric vinyl sticker costs several times more per square metre than a monomeric one, and a 10 mm acrylic panel costs several times more than a 3 mm one.
If you are not sure which material suits your application, describe where the product will be used and for how long. We would rather specify the right material and explain the trade-off than quote the cheapest option that will fail in the field.
Samples and colour approval
Samples are produced on the production press, not a desktop proofing device, because a different device prints a different colour. For brand-critical work we print a proof strip on the actual material so you can judge colour under your own lighting.
Colour is held to the approved sample. For repeat orders we keep the reference on file so a reorder six months later matches the first shipment.
Shipping, packing and documentation
Products are packed for the journey, not just for the pallet: flat packed and cartoned for stickers and signs, rolled on a core and bagged for banners, and corner-protected for acrylic and rigid sheet. We prepare the commercial invoice, packing list and any certificates your market requires.
Sea freight is the economical choice for full containers and heavy rigid signs; air and courier suit samples, urgent reorders and light high-value goods. Tell us your deadline and we will recommend the mode rather than defaulting to one.
Frequently asked questions
How fast can I get a price?
We answer most enquiries within one working day. To quote accurately we need the product type, size, material, quantity and destination. If you also send artwork we will confirm whether it is print-ready at the same time.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Most products start at 500 pieces. UV flatbed printed rigid signs can start from around 100 pieces, and mixed designs can be combined in one production run to reach the minimum.
How long does production take?
Sampling takes 5-10 working days and bulk production 10-20 working days after sample approval, depending on quantity and finishing. We confirm a realistic date when you order rather than quoting a best case.
Which file formats do you accept?
Vector files — AI, EPS, PDF or DXF — are preferred. Raster artwork is accepted at 300 dpi at final size. Please outline fonts, embed images and add 3 mm of bleed beyond the cutting line.
Can I approve a sample before bulk production?
Yes, and we recommend it. Samples are produced on the same press as the bulk order, so the colour and finish you approve is what you receive. The sample charge is credited against your first order.
How do you ship and who handles customs?
We ship by sea, air or courier (DHL, FedEx, UPS). We prepare export packing and commercial documentation; customs clearance and duties are handled by you or your broker in the destination country.
What payment terms do you use?
T/T bank transfer is standard: a deposit before production and the balance before shipment. Other arrangements can be discussed for repeat orders.
Can you sign an NDA before I send artwork?
Yes. Send your NDA and we will sign it before you share files. This is routine for branded work and retail programmes.
